When to expect v1.5.0-a3 and wtf is going on right now?

Hello everybody!

Thank you so much for reaching out on X/Twitter. I've received a ton of DMs and requests and did my best to reply to most of them. I apologize to those of you whom I haven't been able to respond to yet. I've received a lot of feedback, and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share your thoughts on this broken build. Your input is very important!

I wanted to mention this as well: Do not buy the game unless you simply want to support me and the project. Please wait until v1.5.0-alpha3 drops, read some feedback from those who have played it, and then make your purchase.

When can you expect v1.5.0-a3?

I don't have an exact answer, but from now on, updates won't have predefined release dates. I will make a post on X and drop a comment on itch an hour before the release, after the update has been well tested and functions properly. I'll release it as soon as it's ready and playable. Please don't ask when it will be released, as I don't know it yet.

Why not drop it here? It's an early access, it supposed to have bugs.

This particular update is not ready for early access, I'm trying to save you time because it's simply not worth playing in its current state. You'll spend your time 'playing' it, which will lead to frustration since things won't get saved, you'll lose progress, and you will get stuck. It's just not playable right now.

How is the progress going?

Pretty good. The 'kidnapped arc' is almost working, and I've fixed the main saving/loading issues, along with some progression tracking bugs. I still have a long list of things that need to be fixed, and I'm working as hard as I can. However, I'm just human, I get tired, frustrated, angry, and hungry, and I need some physical activity to avoid burnout. So, I really appreciate your patience.

---------------

I apologize in advance if I don't reply to your comments, but I'm essentially doing multiple people's jobs right now. If I were to sit here or on X all day replying to comments and DMs, it would take hours and just mess up my productivity. I'm working with limited time, so I need to plan accordingly.

Anyway, thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate your kind comments, they help me push through "I don't think I can do this anymore" thought. I understand your frustrations, and I completely deserve your negative feedback as well.

Also, if you just wanna check out that build anyway, drop a comment with your X/Twitter handle. I'll find your request and share the link.

Thank you!

@Awilson31068256 - i have sent you a dm on X

as stated by others it would be a good idea to make a github or somewhere else where people can report bugs, so if others have the same issue you will not get 50 pm's with the same issue.

And make sure you have time to relax, the game isnt running away, and you are only 1 person. slow and steady makes for the best results

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast - USMC

Already messaged him for creating a Discord Server for him. Would be way easier for Bug report and User to User help.

USMC got mottos  for everything lol
